The Ladder Safety Gate is a self-closing swing gate, which is economical, reliable, easy to install and closely matches the railings and their dimensional requirements provided for by Federal OSHA. Ideal for elevated platforms, mezzanines or equipment, and anywhere there is an opening in your railing system, which is accessed by ladders, stairway or ships ladder. The Ladder Safety Gates is available in mild steel with either powder coat safety yellow or hot-dip galvanized, not cold galvanizing paint, or 304-2b or 316L-2b stainless steel. For the food processing industry, the PS DOORS Ladder Safety Gate is available in a fully seal welded model, ideal for wash down, and eliminates voids that may trap foreign materials.

Standard Technical Data for the PS DOORS Stainless Steel Self-Closing Ladder Safety Gate:

• Gate Arm: 1-1/4” square, steel tubing. Minimum dimension from top of gate arm to bottom of gate arm to be 22-1/4”.
• Mounting Bracket: Exclusive Universal Mounting Bracket to fit railings up to 2” O.D. Bracket is adaptable to bolt to flat surfaces, i.e. angle iron, flat bar, wall surfaces, etc.
• Hinge Plate: Full Height Hinge Plate provides for gate adjustment of 3-3/4”. Sizing minimum and maximum in description.
• Hinge Springs: Torsion type, stainless steel. Includes a minimum of two (2) springs per gate, housed within hinge pivot.
• Finish: On all exposed surfaces. Hardware to be Stainless Steel type 316.
• Gate Operation: Allows for 180° travel. Gate swing is reversible by inverting or rotating.
• Packaging: Each gate is individually boxed and marked with appropriate size and finish identified.
• Options: Mounting Adapter Brackets for “no drill” installation option for mounting to railing larger then 2” O.D, angle iron, or flat bar.
