The Edge Harness reduces impact forces unlike any other harness on the market as its unique design absorbs up to 23% more energy than other conventional harnesses. It is specifically designed for a head-first free fall and to limit the sliding effect of the dorsal D-ring. The Hypolon protective shell is UV resistant, waterproof and abrasion proof.

All Edge Series harnesses features a "quick adjust" friction torso buckle with a release tab. The chest adjustment area features a velcro slider for 4" of strap adjustment. The padded shoulder, leg and back are made of a closed cell foam with mesh lining that allows the material to breathe and trap sweat. The convenient slots offer workers a place to clip their cell phone, radio, flashlight, safety glasses, pager or Hydrapak straw. A back pad that comfortably keeps the harness in a vest shape while still allowing for dorsal D-ring adjustment. Back pad includes an inside pocket that houses a cool, heat, or hydration pack. This notched buckle fastens without twisting for a quick and easy connection and release every time.

This series contains all of the features on the basic HUV series plus the Monster Webbing. This harness is ideal for highly abrasive and rough environments.
