California Energy Commission (CEC) approved cloth duct tape used in the HVAC industry to seal, seam and join Class 1 Flex Duct, and can also be used to seal flex duct to fitting joints without being in combination with mastic. Offering superior shear strength and excellent tearability, UL 181B-FX Listed PC 858CA is recommended for applications in which the tensile strength and adhesion to stainless steel and polyethylene must meet or exceed the strict requirements of UL, flex duct manufacturers and city and state codes.

Storage and Usage ConditionsTape should be stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and should be used within 12 months of date of shipment. Surfaces to which tape is applied should be clean, dry and free of grease, oil or other contaminants.
