Our OSHA compliant KeeHatch railing systems were introduced to the industry in 1999 under patent #6167659. Our railing systems are designed for safe ingress, egress, and fall protection for roof hatches and provide permanent means of fall protection for hatch openings. Models are available for all types of roof hatches and fire vents. More than 80 models are available to fit any size or manufacturer’s hatch. KeeHatch is the original roof hatch railing and is made of steel, not plastic. Most KeeHatch railing systems are in stock and ready for shipment.

Simple Design: our design concept is simple: use strong structural tube and Kee Klamp components. this simple concept makes our Kee Hatch systems flexible enough to fit any hatch configuration. We only use galvanized fittings and pipe so that your rooftop system is corrosion resistant and built to last.

Compliance: Kee Hatch meets OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.23 and 29 CFR 1910.66. The former requires that the exposed sides of openings in roofs or floors have some form of guardrail protection. When the hinged cover for an opening is left up, the exposed sides must be appropriately protected.
