Jameson 1/8" Mini Duct Hunter Detectable Fiberglass Rodders

1/8" diameter rod has 1-3/4" bend radius and is recommended for 1/2" - 1" conduit. Mini Duct Hunter traces small conduit or pipes. Connecting a signal transmitter to the Duct Hunter™ energizes the unit with a specific frequency. When the energized Duct Hunter™ rod is pushed into pipe, the signal radiates outward to the surface. Using a transmitter to energize Duct Hunter, rod is pushed into pipe to emit signal that is picked up by receiver, allowing the pipe to be traced inside walls, floors or underground.

Jameson Duct Hunter Traceable Rodders are the most durable in the market, but we know job sites can be extremely tough. Using our repair kits, customers are often able to splice rod or repair end-fittings to keep their rodders in service. However, on occasion it may be necessary to replace the entire spool of rod due to more severe damage. Removal, disposal and rod replacement can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Responding to customer feedback, Jameson introduced EZ-REEL pre-loaded replacement reels which help improve speed and safety of replacing damaged rod material.
