Metallic Ladder 36" Width Round Handle Aluminum Marine Gangway
The sturdy all aluminum construction of this Metallic Ladder Gangway permits one-ton load capacities yet the longest units are light enough to be carried by two persons. An entire water front installation can be easily removed in the event of serious storms or for seasonal storage.
The top trussing increases the load capacity and lends support to the sturdy handrail, and does not interfere in areas of extreme tidal fluctuations where the ramp might lie directly across the top of a float.
The addition of a center rail strengthens the cross members and eliminates any side motion. Heavier and longer corner castings at the shore end and solid bar axles give additional strength at the bulkhead hinge joint.
These Gangways include rugged hanger brackets for the shore end of the Alumiramp and rubber tired aluminum wheels or 4" swivel casters at the float end. The walkway has cleats to provide additional foot grip where the ramp incline is unusually steep. Constructed of corrosion resistant, salt water tested aluminum alloys, and require minimal maintenance. Ramps are available in standard widths of 32", 36", 42" and 48". Standard lengths range from 8' to 40' and are handled as stock items. Other widths and longer lengths can be made to order.
