The KDW has a textured frame and bead so drywall compound can be applied in sufficient thickness to conceal the flange. Pre-punched holes in the flange facilitates fastening the flange to framing members with drywall screws.
- Frame shall be 16 gauge steel and door shall be 14 gauge steel
- Trim shall be galvanized drywall bead
- Pin type hinge, spring loaded making door removable
- Locks shall be flushed and screwdriver operated with cam and studs, or shall be key operated cylinder lock with automatic dust shutter
