Vestil Walk Through Style Dock Ladders for Safer Loading Dock Access
Vestil DKL walk through dock ladders provide fixed access for loading docks, truck wells, warehouse docks, maintenance areas, and industrial facilities where personnel need a safer way to climb between dock levels. Designed to help prevent needless dock injuries, these ladders mount directly to the dock face by welding or bolting and provide stable access for routine operations, inspections, and facility service tasks. This group includes 2 through 10 rung sizes in eight color options.
Walk Through Handrail Design
The extra high walk through handrail extends above the dock surface to give users maximum assistance and support when entering or exiting the dock area. The top half of each step is covered with a slip resistant material for extra safety while climbing and descending, supporting safer movement in busy shipping and receiving zones.
Dock Face Mounting
Rugged steel construction provides long-lasting strength for demanding dock environments, with a durable powder coated finish. Each ladder mounts directly to the dock face by either welding or bolting on, and all models project just 8-3/8 inches from the face of the dock, providing climbing clearance without obstructing truck traffic. All sizes carry a 300 lb. capacity with 18 inch step width and 12 inch rung spacing, and taller models (DKL-5 and up) ship in multiple ladder sections for assembly.
Sizes and Colors
Nine step-off heights from 15 inches to 111 inches cover most dock and truck well elevations. Standard models are powder coated yellow for visibility; each size is also available in Blue, Black, Red, White, Gray, Orange, and Silver by adding the color suffix to the model number (for example, DKL-4-BL for Blue or DKL-4-GYSG for Gray).
