Description
The Lapeyre alternating tread stair is a code-compliant replacement for a fixed vertical ladder where there isn't room for a conventional stair. Its patented tread geometry lets you climb and descend facing forward while occupying a fraction of the floor space a standard stair would need. This configuration is built in galvanized carbon steel with a low profile handrail.
Hot-dip galvanized carbon steel for outdoor, washdown, and corrosive service. The zinc coating protects cut edges and welds, making this the right pick for exterior tank access and wet process areas.
Low Profile handrail. Handrail extends only 6-3/4" above the top riser, letting the stair fit through a standard 12" roof-hatch curb or under low overhead clearance.
