Description
The Lapeyre alternating tread stair is a code-compliant replacement for a fixed vertical ladder where there isn't room for a conventional stair. Its patented tread geometry lets you climb and descend facing forward while occupying a fraction of the floor space a standard stair would need. This configuration is built in yellow powder coated carbon steel with a flush handrail.
Carbon steel finished in high-visibility safety yellow powder coat. The most specified finish for interior plants — the colour reads as a safety feature and the powder coat resists chipping far better than wet paint.
Flush handrail. Handrail terminates flush with the top landing instead of extending past it, so the stair can sit tight against a platform, catwalk, or equipment edge without the rail fouling the walking surface.
