Description
The Lapeyre alternating tread stair is a code-compliant replacement for a fixed vertical ladder where there isn't room for a conventional stair. Its patented tread geometry lets you climb and descend facing forward while occupying a fraction of the floor space a standard stair would need. This configuration is built in yellow powder coated carbon steel with a standard handrail.
Carbon steel finished in high-visibility safety yellow powder coat. The most specified finish for interior plants — the colour reads as a safety feature and the powder coat resists chipping far better than wet paint.

An alternating tread stair is an access product, not fall-protection equipment. It does not replace guardrails, a fall-arrest system, or a safety gate at the top landing where those are required.
