Description
Metacaulk Smoke and Acoustic Sealant from RectorSeal is a high-grade acrylic latex sealant that permanently seals penetrations, membrane openings and static or dynamic joints in smoke- and sound-rated assemblies. It is designed for interior non-fire-rated assemblies to help block smoke and reduce sound transfer.

Applications
For interior non-fire-rated assemblies around metallic and nonmetallic pipes, conduits, cables, ducts, outlet and receptacle boxes, membrane penetrations, and head-of-wall, bottom-of-wall, wall-to-wall, wall and floor joints. Not a fire-rated firestop sealant.
